New in February from Gift Connect: Advocacy & Advisory Board, New Blog, Bee Smart Lullabies, Global Updates, and more.

Advisory & Advocacy Board

To increase GIFT CONNECT’s reach and measurable impact in Birth to Three and Early Childhood Development (ECD), we are engaging and activating proven, bipartisan ECD leaders on a new, working Advisory & Advocacy Board (AAB).

The AAB will begin with 12+ members and will grow in 2024 to 25+ members. The role of the AAB is to play a national leadership role in strategy, impact, and collaboration. See below for an example of the caliber of the membership.

The New York Times (2021) reported that, in ages 0 to 5, the United States rates 34th out of 36 leading developed nations. That is unacceptable. The time is now.

In the next ten years, we are on a strong path of action through collaboration and technology.

New to GIFT CONNECT: Blogs!

GIFT CONNECT started 2024 with a refreshed website, and one of the newest features is our blog!

Bee Smart Program

The Bee Smart participants recently had the opportunity to work with musicians to write, sing, and record an original lullaby that is specific to their own family and situation.

In collaboration with the Carnegie Lullaby Project and Musicopia of Philadelphia, ten caregivers and babies utilized the power of music to enhance bonding.

The first ten lullabies have been made, and more are soon to come!
