GIFT CONNECT in Delaware
As GIFT CONNECT prepares to launch pilot programs in Delaware in the first quarter of 2025, we are engaging Delaware community leaders, educators, Birth to Three experts, and allies to collaborate beyond silos. In the past four years with the leadership of Governor John Carney, Rodel, and so many others, Birth to Three is on a strong path. In the past three months, 58 Delaware leaders and some two dozen organizations have agreed to be Birth to Three initiative co-chairs and collaborating partners.
Joining our current national partners, Carnegie Hall Lullaby Project and Vroom, local collaborators provide expertise, infrastructure, energy, ideas, and helping hands to help us move Birth to Three education into the family care and education mainstream.
Our shared commitment to support pregnant mothers, fathers, newborn babies, caregivers, families, and partners through the early years of the infant’s life is the basis for a widespread grassroots effort to make Birth to Three a policy imperative in DE.
Our pilots will introduce child development methods that employ music, technology, and the scientifically verified approach of the six Loving Habits to engage both caregivers and babies.
With collaboration and sharing, GIFT CONNECT’s programs will change the lives and future of parents and babies alike, and the generational impact will enhance the quality of life for all.
If you would like to learn more and/or get involved in this exciting initiative, please feel free to reach out to Sam Beard or donate to support our work at www.gift-connect.org.
